Alice Damiens is a French artist and sculptor based in Paris, with her studio in northern France. After nearly ten years as a fashion stylist, she turned to wood, drawing on the craft passed down by her father, a cabinetmaker and sculptor, and founded Romie Objetti.

She sculpts by hand, letting the grain, irregularities and character of each piece of wood shape the result. Her work ranges from jewellery to monumental totems, at the meeting point of art, design and craft, and through evolving series she explores memory, materiality and transformation. She works with private clients and architects.

Her work has been shown in galleries in Paris, at Révélations at the Grand Palais and during Paris Design Week.
